Drama in Doriath pg.6 by remonpop Drama in Doriath pg.6 by remonpop
I had to explain the whole 'Saeros and Túrin-incident' to my friends who aren't Tolkien fans like me, and this is basically how I told it :'D. It sounded so hilarious that I decided to draw it, but it turned out a bit different on paper... Anyway, I used to hate Saeros when I was a kid, but lately I've started to like him :-D He is this fabulous elf who is very strict about beauty. Since he scolded Túrin about his messy essence, I pictured him being very concerned of his own appearance, and having a long, fabulous hair. -And of course he is very proud of it.
And yeah, Túrin is very grumpy. And yes, he has branches and stuff in his hair.

May it be known that Saeros died to protect the world from unfashionable hair. He died a noble death, indeed. Rest in peace, Saeros.

You have wonderfully captured the absurd essence of this 'Saeros and Túrin-incident' (love the way you draw btw)! I understand well the paying back twice the humaliation mentality of Túrin's, but why it ended up like strip'n'chase to death thing has always been beyond my limited understanding (it's the only weirdly funny part in Túrin's otherwise very tragic tale).

Thank you! Yeah it was pretty bizarre addition to the story, because no matter how you looked at it, it only sounded very comical
